Forklift Operator – 1st Shift
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $17.00/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Mandatory weekend overtime may be required on Saturdays or Sundays.
Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous forklift and manufacturing experience required
- Experience with material handling and warehouse operations
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of forklift safety practices and applicable OSHA requirements
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and pick lists accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand throughout the shift
- Steel-toed shoes, a long-sleeved shirt, and full-length pants required
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other assigned material-handling equipment.
- Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility.
- Use the warehouse management system to track and locate products.
- Pick orders and load or unload trucks using a forklift.
- Complete production duties based on operational needs.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all warehouse, forklift, and workplace safety procedures.
- Keep the assigned work area clean and organized.
- Perform other warehouse or production duties as assigned.
