Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Associate.
Shipping & Receiving Associate Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00/hr
Location: Lawrenceburg, IN
Shipping & Receiving Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
- Ability to use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to safely load, unload, move, and store materials and equipment.
- Ability to follow established safety and productivity requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
About the Shipping & Receiving Associate Role
As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Check in equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Sort scrap from trash and prepare materials for recycling.
- Store beds and stretchers in designated locations.
- Clean and pressure wash beds and stretchers.
- Dispose of defective mattress pads.
- Tag beds and stretchers according to their applicable condition.
- Safely operate forklifts, lift trucks, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Prepare equipment and materials for shipping.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, model, serial number, or product code.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or designated holding areas.
- Stack pallets for future use.
- Return tools and straps to designated locations.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
- Perform general facility maintenance, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
