Schedule Information
- Day shift
- 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
RN – Med/Surg Requirements
- Minimum of two years of recent medical-surgical, neurology, or acute-care nursing experience
- Strong patient-assessment and neurological-monitoring skills
- Experience administering medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patients’ conditions
- Strong clinical-documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and neurology patients.
- Complete patient assessments and monitor vital signs and neurological status.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patients’ conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV therapies.
- Develop, maintain, and update individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment, recovery, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians and other clinical team members.
- Follow all patient-safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.
