Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Production Area Cleaner.
Production Area Cleaner Job Details
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Location: Florence, KY
Production Area Cleaner Requirements/Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Previous sanitation, janitorial, production, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to follow established sanitation, food safety, and quality procedures.
- Ability to complete sanitation documentation accurately.
- Ability to work safely around production equipment and machinery.
- Ability to operate a ride-on floor scrubber.
- Ability to work from aerial equipment at heights up to 40 feet.
- Comfortable working in hot production environments while wearing required PPE.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a sanitation team.
- Clean jeans or work pants without holes required.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including a rubber smock, hair/beard net, hard hat, and safety glasses.
About the Production Area Cleaner Role
As a Production Area Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:
- Sanitize production rooms and controlled environments according to established procedures.
- Clean and sanitize laboratory areas and sterility suites.
- Clean machines, tables, counters, component bins, trash containers, and conveyors.
- Mop and scrub floors, doors, walls, and ceilings.
- Operate a ride-on floor scrubber throughout warehouse and production areas.
- Clean warehouse floors, walls, doors, and racking.
- Gather and remove trash and production debris.
- Clean processing equipment, overhead pipes, and conveyors.
- Perform cleaning in both dry and wet processing areas.
- Clean facility areas, grounds, lighting, and parking areas as needed.
- Perform required hygiene checks and pre-operation swabbing.
- Empty scrap bins and maintain compactor areas.
- Complete and maintain required sanitation records.
- Support food safety and quality assurance programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
- Perform additional sanitation and cleaning duties as assigned.
