Job Description
Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Material Handler – Receiving.
Material Handler – Receiving Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Location: Florence, KY
Material Handler – Receiving Requirements/Qualifications
- At least 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous receiving or material-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.
- Must be comfortable performing both forklift and non-forklift duties.
- Ability to load, unload, move, and organize products.
- Ability to complete basic receiving paperwork accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
- Steel-toed shoes required; composite and mesh-style safety shoes are not permitted.
- Jeans or work pants without rips or holes required.
- Ability to wear required safety glasses and other PPE.
About the Material Handler – Receiving Role
As a Material Handler – Receiving, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move products and materials.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Receive and move incoming products throughout the facility.
- Label products accurately.
- Wrap and prepare pallets.
- Complete required receiving paperwork.
- Move and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Perform non-forklift material-handling duties as needed.
- Support additional receiving department needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow established forklift, warehouse, and safety procedures.
