Production Technician / Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift
Louisville, KY
Pay: $16.23/hour
Pay: $16.23/hour
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
- Some Saturdays may be required
Production Technician / Forklift Operator Requirements
- Sit-down forklift operating experience required
- Ability to move and organize steel parts and production bins
- Ability to perform production and material-handling duties
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to product quality and accuracy
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Commitment to forklift and workplace-safety procedures
- Availability to work Saturdays when required
- Previous production, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move steel parts and production bins.
- Transport, organize, and stage materials throughout the production area.
- Supply production departments with the necessary parts and containers.
- Load, unload, and relocate materials as assigned.
- Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.
- Inspect the forklift before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Inspect steel parts and bins for visible damage or quality issues.
- Follow established production and equipment-safety procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and accessible work areas.
- Report shortages, damaged materials, and safety concerns.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
