Job Description
Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Louisville, KY
Pay: $15.00/hour
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule Information
- Four days per week
- 3:00 PM–12:00 AM
Machine Operator Requirements
- Strong attention to machine operation and product flow
- Ability to identify jams and production problems
- Willingness to train and work in all production areas
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Commitment to production and workplace-safety procedures
- Previous machine-operation or production experience preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production machines throughout the shift.
- Ensure tea and other materials move through the equipment correctly.
- Watch for machine jams, interruptions, and product-flow concerns.
- Address minor issues when trained and authorized.
- Notify the appropriate operator or supervisor of equipment problems.
- Monitor products for visible quality concerns.
- Follow established production and safety procedures.
- Cross-train and work in multiple production areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
Work Environment
- Temperature-regulated production facility
- Training provided in all assigned work areas
