Warehouse Pick & Pack Associate
Pay: $21.00 per hour Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Pick & Pack Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for picking, packing, receiving, restocking, and shipping materials to customers and production.
Operators will use swing reach trucks and order pickers to pull and put away product, including working at heights of up to 40 feet. Operators will also use RF barcode scanning equipment to accurately pick orders for following-day shipments for the Shipping Department and production orders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, receive, and ship materials using RF barcode scanning equipment.
- Operate swing reach trucks and order pickers to pull and put away product.
- Use order-picking equipment to safely transport employees up to 40 feet in the air to pull or put away product.
- Pull orders for following-day shipments for the Shipping Department and production orders.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials and quantities for correctness.
- Safely operate material handling equipment.
- Restock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment.
- Pack orders to ensure products arrive at the customer undamaged and with the correct quantity.
- Complete required clerical and warehouse documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and follow warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate swing reach trucks and order pickers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to walk throughout the warehouse.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on order-picking equipment at heights of up to 40 feet.
- Ability to safely operate swing reach trucks and order pickers.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
