Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Shipping Warehouse Associate.
Shipping Warehouse Associate Job Details
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: Groveport, OH
Shipping Warehouse Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous RF scanner experience required.
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift.
- Ability to remain on your feet and moving throughout the shift.
- Steel-toed boots or shoes required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shipping environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted on the property.
- Ability to follow established workplace safety procedures.
About the Shipping Warehouse Associate Role
As a Shipping Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare packages and cartons for outgoing shipments.
- Ensure shipments are loaded according to shipping dates and schedules.
- Floor-load trailers safely and efficiently.
- Pallet-load trailers according to shipping requirements.
- Use an RF scanner to process and track products.
- Assist with manifesting outgoing shipments.
- Perform required safety checks during FedEx pickup trailer swaps.
- Lift and move packages and cartons throughout the shift.
- Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Organize and stage products for shipment.
- Maintain an efficient pace to ensure shipments leave the facility on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow established shipping and safety procedures.
