Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a General Laborer – Produce Warehouse.
General Laborer – Produce Warehouse Job Details
Pay Rate: $13.00/hr
Location: Ft. Mitchell, KY
General Laborer – Produce Warehouse Requirements/Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated temperatures of approximately 34–37°F.
- Ability to work in wet conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift approximately 25–50 lbs as needed.
- Ability to frequently bend, lift, and handle fresh produce.
- Strong attention to detail and product quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow food safety, workplace safety, and production procedures.
- Gym shoes or work boots permitted; steel-toed footwear is not required.
- Jeans, sweatpants, khakis, or coveralls permitted.
- Cold-weather clothing, including sweatshirts, fleece, winter jackets, and appropriate knit hats, may be worn.
- Jewelry and piercings are not permitted except for a plain wedding band.
- Fake nails and nail polish are not permitted.
- Ability to wear required food-production PPE.
About the General Laborer – Produce Warehouse Role
As a General Laborer – Produce Warehouse, your responsibilities will include:
- Work on production lines processing fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Sort, inspect, and handle produce to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare and assemble products for packaging.
- Package finished products for shipment.
- Label, weigh, and organize products according to established guidelines.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary production environment.
- Follow established food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Perform repetitive production and material-handling duties.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Maintain efficiency and organization throughout assigned work areas.
