Job Description
Welder/Fabricator Job Details
Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 3:30pm | $22/hr.
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Welder/Fabricator Requirements
- Must be able to look at shop drawings, interpret what is required, lay it out, cut the material and fabricate the product.
- Must be able to work on a variety of products, requiring different techniques
- Must have a valid Drivers License with a clear driving record – no suspensins, speeding tickets or OWI's in the last 3 years.
About the Welder Fabricator Role
As a Welder/Fabricator your responsibilities will include:
- Good Math skills required
- Work from Blueprints and shop drawings t lay out miscellaneous steel such as railings, stairs, fences, window guards, gates and steel stairs
- Cut, punch and drill materials as required.
- MIG weld steel materials such as tube, angle and channel, ranging from 16 guage to 1/2" thick, TIG welding capability of brass, aluminum and stainless steel.
- Grind materials to high finish standards
- This is not production welding. The fabricator takes the job from the blueprints through laying out the job, cutting materials, welding, grinding and finishing.
