Assembly / Production Operator Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing or technical training preferred
- Minimum of one year of mechanical or electronics assembly experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions
- Ability to understand English-language instructions and complete work orders
- Bilingual English/Mandarin skills preferred
- Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-driven production environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble automotive cockpit components, including dashboards, consoles, electronics, brackets, and wiring harnesses.
- Install components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Use pneumatic torque guns, manual tools, and other assembly equipment safely.
- Follow standard operating procedures and required torque specifications.
- Conduct self-inspections and functional tests, including screen activation and button-response testing.
- Verify completed assemblies meet IATF 16949 quality requirements.
- Document defects and support rework or scrap processes.
- Perform tool checks and basic equipment maintenance.
- Follow PPE, lockout/tagout, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Report hazards and equipment concerns during daily safety briefings.
- Maintain organized workstations according to 5S standards.
- Work within established production-line cycle and takt times.
- Recommend error-proofing and process-improvement ideas.
- Perform additional assembly and production duties as assigned.
