Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Glasgow, KY
Pay: $30.00–$31.50/hour
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Schedule
- Flexible night and overnight shifts
- Rotating weekends required
Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements
- Current LPN license valid in Kentucky
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient care procedures and medication administration
- Ability to monitor patients and recognize changes in their condition
- Accurate clinical documentation and recordkeeping skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Dependable attendance and flexibility to work rotating weekends
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach to care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established care plans
- Monitor patients’ health, vital signs, comfort, and overall condition
- Report patient concerns and changes in condition to the appropriate clinical staff
- Assist with patient assessments and daily care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
- Communicate patient updates to members of the healthcare team
- Support daily unit operations and assist with directing support staff when appropriate
- Follow facility policies, healthcare regulations, infection-control practices, and safety procedures
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients and staff
- Perform additional nursing duties within the LPN’s scope of practice
