Labeling Specialist Job Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Location: Florence, KY

Labeling Specialist Requirements/Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, production, or labeling experience preferred.
Strong computer skills required.
Experience using RF handheld scanners required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to coordinate daily assignments between line support employees.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to labeling accuracy.
Ability to inspect labels for correct placement, readability, and quality.
Ability to communicate production priorities and workflow changes effectively.
Experience coordinating production activities or supporting team operations preferred.
Ability to identify and report labeling errors or production discrepancies.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to perform repetitive labeling and packaging tasks.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address routine production concerns.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with production teams.
Ability to maintain accurate records using computer systems and scanning equipment.
Understanding of workplace safety and manufacturing quality standards.
Ability to maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic required.

About the Labeling Specialist Role

As a Labeling Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinate daily labeling activities and assignments between line support employees.
Communicate production priorities and job assignments to line support staff.
Use computer systems to support labeling and production operations.
Operate RF handheld scanners to track products and materials.
Monitor labeling operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Apply and inspect labels on bottles, containers, boxes, and finished products.
Verify that labels are correctly positioned and securely attached.
Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrectly placed labels.
Maintain accurate product information using electronic scanning equipment.
Assist with organizing and prioritizing labeling assignments.
Coordinate with production employees to maintain an efficient workflow.
Communicate material needs, production delays, and labeling concerns to supervisors.
Support accurate product identification and tracking throughout the labeling process.
Monitor completed labeling work to ensure established quality standards are met.
Assist with preparing products and packaging materials for labeling.
Maintain organized labeling materials and production workstations.
Collaborate with line support staff to meet daily production goals.
Follow established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
Complete additional labeling, coordination, and production support duties as assigned.
