Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Fleet Mechanic.
Fleet Mechanic Job Details
Schedule: Part-time, 20–25 hours per week (flexible scheduling, evenings after 5:00 PM preferred)
Pay Rate: $43.00/hr
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Fleet Mechanic Requirements/Qualifications
- ASE certification required.
- Previous automotive or truck maintenance experience required.
- Experience servicing and repairing gasoline-powered trucks.
- Strong knowledge of brake systems, oil changes, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning vehicle components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize repairs and complete maintenance efficiently.
- Comfortable performing hands-on mechanical work.
- Ability to follow established repair procedures and safety guidelines.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Appropriate work attire, including jeans and T-shirts.
About the Fleet Mechanic Role
As a Fleet Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of approximately 20 gasoline-powered trucks.
- Complete oil changes and preventative maintenance services.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle brake systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs.
- Inspect vehicle components for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
- Perform general automotive maintenance to ensure reliable vehicle operation.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues.
- Replace worn or damaged parts as needed.
- Help minimize vehicle downtime through timely maintenance and repairs.
- Prioritize maintenance tasks based on vehicle condition and operational needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow established automotive repair procedures and safety guidelines.
- Communicate vehicle maintenance concerns and repair needs to management.
- Complete additional fleet maintenance duties as assigned.
