Job Description
Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a CDL-A Driver.
CDL-A Driver Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00–9:00 AM start time and 5:00–6:00 PM end time
Pay Rate: $20.00–$25.00/hr, based on experience
Location: Cincinnati, OH
CDL-A Driver Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required.
- Previous less-than-truckload (LTL) driving experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience required.
- Acceptable motor vehicle driving record required.
- Experience operating commercial trucks on local delivery routes.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily driving responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills when interacting with dispatchers and customers.
- Ability to complete required driving documentation accurately.
- Familiarity with vehicle inspections and commercial transportation procedures.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
About the CDL-A Driver Role
As a CDL-A Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate commercial vehicles on assigned local routes.
- Transport LTL freight safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Complete daily driving assignments according to established schedules.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions.
- Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections.
- Monitor vehicle performance and report mechanical or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and required transportation documentation.
- Follow Department of Transportation regulations and company safety procedures.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding routes, deliveries, and scheduling.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and receiving personnel.
- Ensure freight is transported safely and securely.
- Manage daily driving responsibilities to support timely deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles.
- Report delivery concerns or transportation issues to management.
- Complete additional driving-related responsibilities as assigned.
