Warehouse Associate Job Details

Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shifts Available

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Location: West Chester, OH

Warehouse Associate Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer and typing skills.
Ability to use handheld scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
Ability to push and pull wheeled carts or dollies weighing up to 100 pounds.
Comfortable standing and walking continuously for shifts lasting up to 10 hours.
Ability to bend, stretch, and reach above and below the waist.
Good hand and wrist dexterity for handling merchandise and packaging materials.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that may be noisy or not climate-controlled.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn different warehouse operations and procedures.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Closed-toe footwear and appropriate workplace attire required.
Ability to follow fragrance-free workplace requirements.
Ability to follow workplace safety policies, including restrictions on cell phones, food, and beverages in production areas.

About the Warehouse Associate Role

As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Pick and pull merchandise to fulfill customer orders.
Prepare, package, and ship orders according to company standards.
Receive incoming shipments and verify merchandise.
Stock shelves and organize warehouse inventory.
Process product returns and backorders.
Use handheld scanners to track merchandise and update inventory information.
Inspect products to ensure quality and order accuracy.
Organize and replenish products throughout the warehouse.
Prepare and stock boxes of additional merchandise.
Monitor orders and assist with shipping operations.
Accurately enter information into warehouse computer systems.
Assist with customer inquiries through phone or email when assigned.
Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
Follow established warehouse procedures, productivity standards, and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to support daily fulfillment goals.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Complete additional warehouse and distribution responsibilities as assigned.
