Shipping Associate
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed, including availability to work until 4:30 PM
Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurate, complete, properly labeled, and ready for shipment.
The ideal candidate has warehouse or shipping experience, is comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse management systems, and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify customer orders against packing lists and system records.
- Confirm correct quantities, products, and packaging before shipment.
- Identify and resolve order discrepancies.
- Use handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems to process orders.
- Ensure shipments are accurately processed and released to carriers.
- Operate dimensioning equipment to capture package size and weight.
- Properly label packages according to carrier requirements.
- Stage completed orders for shipment and assist with loading preparation.
- Maintain organized shipping lanes and staging areas.
- Monitor equipment and report issues as needed.
- Maintain high standards of shipping accuracy.
- Help identify process improvements to reduce shipping errors and delays.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to operate RF scanners and warehouse systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and reliability.
- Must be able to speak, understand, and write English.
- Must be available for mandatory overtime when required.
Preferred:
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
- Experience with dimensioning equipment or parcel shipping systems.
- Experience working with UPS, FedEx, and LTL carriers.
- Previous shipping or order verification experience.
