Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Manual Machinist.
Manual Machinist Job Details
Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available – 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23.00–$30.00/hr, based on experience
Location: Springfield, OH
Manual Machinist Requirements/Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of current, hands-on manual machining experience required.
- Manual machining experience is required; CNC experience does not replace this requirement.
- Ability to independently set up and operate manual machining equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret sketches, prints, and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on machining skills.
- Ability to perform accurate measurements and maintain required specifications.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and product quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining and production issues.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
About the Manual Machinist Role
As a Manual Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment.
- Produce parts according to sketches, prints, and specifications.
- Perform traditional hands-on machining operations.
- Measure and inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain specifications.
- Select and use appropriate tools for assigned machining operations.
- Monitor equipment throughout the machining process.
- Identify and correct machining or quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate and consistent workmanship.
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow established manufacturing and safety procedures.
- Perform additional machining duties as assigned.
