Job Description
Electrical Assembly Technician
Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Electrical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical wiring experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow work orders, drawings, and assembly instructions accurately.
Job Responsibilities
- Obtain work orders from the Lead Person.
- Review the Bill of Materials (BOM) for descriptions, quantities, and required parts.
- Read routing instructions carefully and report labor against the correct sequence.
- Review work orders for special instructions and request clarification when necessary.
- Obtain production assembly drawings when required.
- Inspect parts throughout the assembly process.
- Inspect flanges 100% using a .0015 feeler gauge. The gauge must not penetrate more than 1/8 inch maximum.
- Inspect parts for porosity, torn threads, damaged paint, missing features, and other defects.
- Lubricate designated threaded areas.
- Identify and properly segregate nonconforming or questionable materials.
- Communicate issues involving parts, equipment, fixtures, tools, drawings, or work instructions to the Lead Person, Supervisor, or Inspector.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Return tools, equipment, drawings, and materials to their proper locations after completing work orders.
- Use downtime productively by restocking consumable parts, cleaning the work area, and preparing for the next assignment.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Electrical wiring or electrical assembly experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. continuously
- Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, routings, and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/production environment
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $24.50 per hour
- Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Full-time position
