Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Steel Fabricator.
Steel Fabricator Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00–$28.00/hr, based on experience
Location: Wilmington, OH
Steel Fabricator Requirements/Qualifications
- Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) experience required.
- Ability to perform FCAW welding to AWS D1.1 standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with layout and fit-up.
- Ability to safely operate jib and overhead cranes for material handling.
- Experience cutting, grinding, and drilling steel.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to accurately check and record completed work.
- Ability to safely use fabrication tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to following established workplace safety procedures.
About the Steel Fabricator Role
As a Steel Fabricator, your responsibilities will include:
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication specifications.
- Perform layout and fit-up of steel components.
- Perform Flux Core Arc Welding according to AWS D1.1 standards.
- Handle materials using jib and overhead cranes.
- Cut, grind, and drill steel as required.
- Measure and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Check and record completed work.
- Safely operate fabrication tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow established quality and safety procedures.
- Perform additional steel fabrication duties as assigned.
