Somerset, KY
Pay: $35.10/hour
Schedule: 12:00 PM–12:00 AM

Emergency Department RN Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency department or comparable emergency nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing practices, patient assessment, and triage
- Experience administering medications and emergency treatments
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to accurately document patient care using electronic medical records
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and other urgent conditions
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
- Continuously monitor patient status and recognize changes requiring intervention
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Initiate and assist with emergency interventions and procedures
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility as needed
- Maintain a safe and supportive emergency department environment
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
