Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Shelbyville, KY
Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour
Position Type: Full-Time

- Monday–Friday
- 4:00 PM–12:30 AM
Maintenance Technician Requirements
- At least five years of industrial maintenance experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Two years of vocational training in an industrial maintenance discipline
- Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical maintenance skills
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and building systems
- Welding, cutting, light machining, and precision measuring experience
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and welding equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams, manuals, and equipment specifications
- Basic computer skills, including experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Ability to safely operate aerial lifts and forklifts
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and job safety analysis (JSA) procedures
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and assist with the installation of industrial process machinery.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and diagnose malfunctions through inspection and testing.
- Maintain production equipment and mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery to support reliable operation.
- Use metalworking tools and equipment to fabricate or repair parts, equipment, dies, and jigs.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on tooling, equipment, and facility systems.
- Follow LOTO, JSA, and other required safety procedures.
- Record repairs, maintenance work, parts, and materials in the CMMS.
- Request replacement parts and support new project launches and engineering changes as directed.
