Schedule Information
- Night shift
- 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment
RN – Rehabilitation Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN license or applicable compact-state license required
- Active BLS certification required
- At least two years of rehabilitation nursing experience required
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong patient-assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies
- Knowledge of rehabilitation-focused nursing care
- Ability to assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Knowledge of fall-prevention and patient-safety practices
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Strong clinical-documentation and patient-education skills
- Experience using electronic medical records
- Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork abilities
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- All licenses and certifications must be verified before submission
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to inpatient rehabilitation patients during the night shift.
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Monitor vital signs and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain IV therapies.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living.
- Implement individualized rehabilitation-focused nursing care plans.
- Encourage patients’ independence while providing appropriate assistance.
- Monitor patients for pain, skin concerns, and other complications.
- Implement fall-prevention and patient-safety measures.
- Respond promptly to changes in condition and clinical emergencies.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, safety, and recovery goals.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
- Coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Follow all medication-safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.
- Perform additional rehabilitation nursing duties as assigned.

About the RN – Rehabilitation Role
Crown Staffing is hiring an experienced Rehabilitation Registered Nurse for a 13-week, night-shift assignment in Somerset, KY. This position provides nursing care to inpatient rehabilitation patients while supporting mobility, safety, independence, and individualized recovery goals.
