Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
Glasgow, KY
Pay: $19.50–$20.50/hour
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Schedule
- Day shift
- 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Three- or five-day work schedules available
- Rotating weekends required
Certified Medication Technician Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in Kentucky or an accepted compact state
- Current Certified Medication Technician State Letter authorizing medication administration
- Previous healthcare or long-term-care experience preferred but not required
- CPR certification preferred; onsite certification may be available
- Ability to follow medication-administration procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
- Dependable attendance and strong communication skills
- Commitment to protecting residents’ safety, dignity, and privacy
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility procedures
- Monitor and record residents’ temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Assist residents with bathing, dental care, oral hygiene, nail care, and hair care
- Collect, label, and document sputum, urine, and stool specimens for laboratory analysis
- Position bedfast residents safely and comfortably
- Turn and reposition residents according to their care plans
- Record residents’ food and fluid intake
- Document bowel movements and urine output accurately
- Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
- Maintain complete and accurate medication and resident-care records
- Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and resident-care procedures
- Perform additional resident-care duties as assigned
