MIG Welder – 2nd Shift
Shelbyville, KY
Pay: $23.50/hour

Schedule Information
- Monday–Thursday
- 5:00 PM–3:30 AM
- 2nd shift
MIG Welder Requirements
- Minimum of one year of MIG-welding experience required
- Experience operating welding equipment and repairing incomplete or missing welds
- Ability to inspect finished parts for weld quality and overall workmanship
- Experience using grinders and other basic metalworking tools
- Ability to follow welding specifications and production instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to work safely around robotic welding equipment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Commitment to PPE and workplace-safety requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Load components into the robotic welding system.
- Unload completed pieces using available lift-assist equipment.
- Inspect completed parts for missing welds, defects, and other quality concerns.
- Repair incomplete or missing welds using MIG-welding equipment.
- Grind and finish welded areas according to product specifications.
- Complete final inspections before parts move to the next production stage.
- Stack approved finished pieces safely on pallets.
- Move completed materials using a pallet jack when required.
- Monitor equipment and report production, quality, or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized welding area.
- Follow all welding, equipment, PPE, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Perform additional welding and production duties as assigned.

About the MIG Welder Role
Crown Staffing is hiring an experienced MIG Welder for a second-shift opportunity in Shelbyville, KY. This position loads and unloads a robotic welder, repairs missing welds, performs final quality inspections, and stacks completed pieces for material movement.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of MIG-welding experience and is comfortable working with robotic welding equipment, grinders,
pallet jacks, and lift-assist devices.
