Occupational Therapist
Versailles, KY
Pay: $34.00/hour
Position Type: 13-Week Contract | Day Shift
Schedule Information
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monday – Friday (schedule based on facility needs)
Occupational Therapist Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent occupational therapy experience
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles and occupational therapy treatment techniques
- Experience developing individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
- Ability to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

- Standard occupational therapy equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
- Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve independence with daily living skills, mobility, coordination, strength, and functional performance
- Recommend, fit, and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and safety techniques
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case management, and rehabilitation team members
- Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and functional mobility activities
- Perform additional occupational therapy duties as assigned
