Job Description

Bilingual English/Spanish Translator
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $28.00/hour

Schedule Information

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Warehouse environment

Bilingual Translator Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish required
  • Ability to interpret conversations accurately and clearly in real time
  • Strong understanding of grammar, terminology, and cultural differences
  • Ability to translate written instructions, safety materials, and workplace communications
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to remain neutral and accurately communicate the speaker’s intended message
  • Comfortable working throughout a warehouse environment
  • Basic computer and document-processing skills
  • Previous translation, interpretation, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English interpretation for employees, supervisors, trainers, and other team members.
  • Assist with communication during onboarding, training, meetings, and daily warehouse operations.
  • Translate safety instructions, work procedures, announcements, and other workplace materials.
  • Help employees understand job assignments, production expectations, and company procedures.
  • Interpret employee questions, concerns, and supervisor feedback accurately and professionally.
  • Support clear communication during safety incidents or urgent workplace situations.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee or company information.
  • Review translated materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Help reduce communication barriers across warehouse teams.
  • Perform additional translation and administrative duties as assigned.
