About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring General Laborers to support installation, maintenance, and repair projects for sports facility equipment in Fisherville, KY. In this role, you’ll work alongside a Foreman to complete hands-on projects including gym equipment, bleachers, and scoreboards.
This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical skills who enjoys working in the field and traveling to job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and maintenance of gymnasium equipment and bleachers
- Support installation of indoor and outdoor scoreboards
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues at job sites
- Operate equipment such as lifts, aerial platforms, and other machinery
- Assist with documenting maintenance and service records
- Help track materials and report any discrepancies
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Support daily job tracking and timekeeping
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with driving company vehicles to job sites
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction documents
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel (up to 75% overnight travel; home on weekends)
- Ability to work at heights and operate aerial equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electrical work
- Experience in school (K-12) facility projects
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
