Schedule Information
- Night shift
- 13-week assignment
RN – Med/Surg Requirements
- Active RN license applicable to the assignment
- Current BLS certification
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Recent medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Ability to assess patients and respond to changes in clinical condition
- Experience administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary care team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients during the night shift.
- Assess patients and monitor changes in their condition.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV therapies.
- Develop, maintain, and update nursing care plans.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Educate patients and families about care and recovery.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other clinical staff.
- Follow facility patient safety and infection control procedures.
