Somerset, KY

Schedule Information
- Weekend schedule
- 5:30 AM–5:00 PM
- 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment
Multi-Modality Technologist Requirements
- Minimum of two years of recent multi-modality and CT imaging experience
- Applicable ARRT certification for each modality performed
- CT credentials as required by the facility
- Current BLS certification
- Applicable Kentucky radiology license
- Knowledge of diagnostic-imaging and CT procedures
- Strong understanding of radiation-safety and infection-control practices
- Ability to position and educate patients appropriately
- Strong attention to patient safety and diagnostic image quality
- Accurate clinical documentation and recordkeeping skills
- Effective communication with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff
Key Responsibilities
- Perform multi-modality diagnostic-imaging examinations according to physician orders and facility procedures.
- Prepare, identify, position, and educate patients before examinations.
- Operate CT and other diagnostic-imaging equipment within credentialed modalities.
- Obtain diagnostic-quality images that meet facility standards.
- Operate portable imaging equipment when required.
- Assist with contrast administration when permitted and required.
- Follow all radiation-safety, infection-control, and patient-care procedures.
- Monitor patients and communicate significant findings or changes in condition to the appropriate clinical staff.
- Document examinations and maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
- Transfer and manage diagnostic images using PACS.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and other members of the healthcare team.
- Perform additional imaging duties as assigned.
