Medical Technologist – Nights
Location: Flemingsburg, KY
Pay: $27.00/hour

Schedule Information
- Night shift
- 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
- 13-week assignment
Medical Technologist Requirements
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical laboratory experience
- Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist certification meeting facility requirements
- Experience performing clinical laboratory testing and processing specimens
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment
- Experience reviewing and validating laboratory results
- Knowledge of quality-control procedures and laboratory standards
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot testing or equipment issues
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Effective clinical communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of infection-control and laboratory-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing according to physician orders and facility procedures.
- Receive, identify, and process laboratory specimens.
- Perform testing within assigned laboratory disciplines.
- Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Review and validate test results for accuracy.
- Perform required quality-control procedures.
- Identify and troubleshoot testing, specimen, and equipment concerns.
- Communicate critical or unusual results to the appropriate clinical personnel.
- Maintain accurate laboratory and patient records.
- Follow all infection-control, laboratory-safety, and quality standards.
- Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned.
