Somerset, KY
Pay: $36.00/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

NICU RN Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU or comparable neonatal nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of neonatal assessment and patient care
- Experience administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies
- Ability to monitor and respond appropriately to changes in neonatal condition
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, family-centered care
- Ability to accurately document patient care using electronic medical records
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients during the day shift
- Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments
- Monitor vital signs, respiratory status, and overall patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Manage and monitor IV therapies
- Assist with feeding and developmental care
- Support parents and families by providing education and compassionate care
- Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and appropriate healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all NICU safety, quality, and patient-care protocols
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
