Quality Sorter
Bowling Green, KY
Pay: $15.00/hour
Full-Time | 1st Shift

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Quality Sorter Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to complete production and quality reports accurately
- Basic math skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools to inspect products
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to identify product defects and measurements outside specifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors
- Dependable attendance and ability to meet production goals
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect forged parts for defects and measurements outside customer specifications
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify product quality
- Identify defective materials before packaging
- Record inspection results, measurements, and quality data accurately
- Report quality issues, safety concerns, and nonconforming materials to supervisors promptly
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Use the established “Stop, Call, Wait” process when a situation prevents compliance with standard procedures
- Wear required PPE and follow all workplace safety guidelines
- Maintain production reports and quality inspection records
- Follow production priorities and schedules to meet performance goals
- Work with production operators, quality control, and inspection personnel to maintain workflow
- Recommend improvements to inspection processes and work area efficiency
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
