Production Associate
Shelbyville, KY
Pay: $16.50-$16.80/hour
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required as needed
Production Associate Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and established procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
- Ability to take precision measurements and ensure proper component fit
- Comfortable working with production equipment and hand tools
- Ability to work safely while following all company policies and procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Perform process control checks, start-up checks, and operator maintenance checks
- Follow standardized work instructions and production procedures
- Operate equipment and make process adjustments as needed
- Identify and properly use materials according to production requirements
- Assemble components manually and/or using production equipment
- Inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete die changes according to production schedules
- Track daily production output and maintain scrap and efficiency records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate production issues or concerns to team leaders and supervisors
- Support additional production tasks as assigned
