Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Chemical Processing

Chemical Processing Tech 2nd Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Chemical Processing Tech 2nd Requirements/Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Resume, work ticket, and testing required.
  • Background check required; no felonies within the past 7 years.
  • 10-panel drug screen required.
  • Previous chemical processing/operator experience preferred.
  • Stable and dependable work history.
  • Strong computer and math skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to safely work around chemicals, machinery, and production equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work a 12-hour shift schedule when required.

About the Chemical Processing Tech 2nd Role

As a Chemical Processing Tech 2nd, your responsibilities will include:
  • Safely operate and monitor chemical processing equipment and production systems.
  • Monitor chemical reactions, equipment conditions, gauges, and process indicators.
  • Make process adjustments based on operating conditions and laboratory results.
  • Record accurate process readings, production information, and operating data.
  • Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, hazards, or conditions requiring maintenance.
  • Operate valves, controls, pumps, and other process equipment as required.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, OSHA, cGMP, and facility procedures.
  • Operate packaging equipment and package finished products according to quality standards.
  • Perform required safety, equipment, and forklift inspections.
  • Maintain production areas according to housekeeping and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with equipment preparation and safe work procedures for maintenance activities.
  • Properly handle and identify hazardous waste according to established procedures.
  • Work effectively with team members and other departments to meet production goals.
