Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for an Operations / Customer Service Representative.
Operations / Customer Service Representative Job Details
Schedule: Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM (flexible as needed); Saturday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM; Sunday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM; optional 1–2 additional 4-hour shifts during the week (not to exceed 25 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00/hr (based on experience)

Operations / Customer Service Representative Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Thorough knowledge of international air and ocean freight forwarding operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Forklift safety certification required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations involving freight, storage, duty, and shipping charges.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work a flexible schedule.
About the Operations / Customer Service Representative Role
As an Operations / Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate international air and ocean import and export shipments.
- Prepare bills of lading and all required shipping documentation.
- Schedule freight pickups and coordinate with trucking companies, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Receive, inspect, label, and process freight while following TSA regulations.
- Communicate with customers and overseas agents regarding shipment status and documentation.
- Prepare customer quotations and assist the sales team with proposals and market research.
- Maintain customer files, shipping records, and operational documentation.
- Provide outstanding customer service by resolving shipment issues and supporting day-to-day logistics operations.
