Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Bindery Worker.
Bindery Worker Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM, with mandatory overtime based on business needs, including at least 3 Saturdays per month and possible Sundays
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr

Bindery Worker Requirements/Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
- Ability to read and understand work orders.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent attendance and reliability required.
- Must be available for mandatory overtime, including extended shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong attention to quality and detail.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive bending and twisting.
- Comfortable performing detailed handwork and repetitive production tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Small hands are preferred for this position due to the detailed nature of the work.
- Comfortable working in an extremely hot warehouse environment. Fans are provided, but temperatures can remain hot.
- Jeans or shorts, T-shirt, and closed-toe shoes required.
About the Bindery Worker Role
As a Bindery Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Train to set up and operate small bindery and production machines.
- Perform handwork, including separating pages and book blocks.
- Operate stitchers, drills, coil makers, laminators, and perf and crease machines after training.
- Assist with spooking and applying spiral binding to books.
- Insert and build books according to production requirements.
- Perform spiraling, glue, and tip-in repairs.
- Assist with separating book blocks and preparing materials for binding.
- Assist on packaging lines.
- Box and unbox products as needed.
- Perform binding and rework duties.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
