Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Product Quality Specialist.

Product Quality Specialist Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $36.05/hr ($74,000/year)
Location: Covington, KY

Product Quality Specialist Requirements/Qualifications
  • Resume and interview required.
  • Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field required.
  • Experience in operational quality control, product inspection, or mechanical inspection environments required.
  • Extensive blueprint reading experience required.
  • Experience using calipers and other precision measuring and inspection tools required.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Steel toe boots required.
  • 10-panel drug screen required.
  • Background must be returned before starting.
  • No violent felonies or misdemeanors within 7 years.
  • No theft-related charges of any kind.

About the Product Quality Specialist Role
As a Product Quality Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Perform quality control inspections on finished products and subassemblies.
  • Perform mechanical inspections using precision measuring tools.
  • Support final testing and product validation activities.
  • Read blueprints, specifications, and tolerances to verify product requirements.
  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection checklists, and quality reports.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities.
  • Coordinate rework and corrective actions for quality-related issues.
  • Work with Production and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve recurring quality concerns.
  • Assist with improving inspection criteria, standards, and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and complete quality records.
  • Use computer systems and SAP to support quality processes and documentation.
