Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Shipping Warehouse Associate.
Shipping Warehouse Associate Job Details
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: Groveport, OH
Shipping Warehouse Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Previous RF scanner experience required.
- Steel-toed boots or shoes required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding warehouse duties.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely load and organize merchandise in shipping trailers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow shipping schedules and established procedures.
- Strong commitment to accuracy, productivity, and workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with warehouse team members.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
About the Shipping Warehouse Associate Role
As a Shipping Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Load packages and cartons into shipping trailers according to established schedules.
- Ensure outgoing shipments are loaded accurately and on time.
- Perform floor-loading and pallet-loading operations.
- Organize merchandise within trailers to support safe and efficient transportation.
- Use RF scanners to track and process outgoing shipments.
- Perform shipping manifesting and verify shipment information.
- Conduct safety checks during FedEx pickup trailer swaps.
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise as needed.
- Move and organize packages throughout the shipping department.
- Perform heavy lifting and material-handling tasks.
- Verify packages are prepared for shipment according to shipping requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and product movement.
- Follow established shipping procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily shipping goals.
- Assist with additional shipping and warehouse duties as assigned.
