Material Handler – Night Shift
Louisville, KY
Pay: $18.00/hour
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule Information
- 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Training takes place on 1st shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Material Handler Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of warehouse or material-handling experience preferred
- Experience using RF barcode scanners preferred
- One to three years of forklift experience
- Current forklift certification or ability to become certified
- Strong attention to inventory accuracy and product quality
- Ability to follow shipping instructions and customer-specific requirements
- Knowledge of warehouse safety and GMP requirements
- Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Pull customer orders using the dcLINK system.
- Follow special order requirements, including relabeling, rewrapping, checking customer codes, restacking, and adding pallet labels.
- Verify that all components of each sales order are present before shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and inspect trailers before loading.
- Move finished products from production lines to designated staging areas.
- Stage and load outbound shipments.
- Receive, inspect, and move inbound raw materials.
- Inspect unloaded products for damage and complete the required paperwork.
- Scan finished goods, inventory moves, staged shipments, and outbound loads in the dcLINK system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and product locations.
- Protect warehouse inventory and report damaged or missing products to management.
- Follow Food Safety Program and GMP requirements.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
