Yard Worker / Flatbed Driver
Louisville, KY
Pay: $19.00–$22.00/hour
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Yard Worker / Flatbed Driver Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous experience in a lumberyard, fencing company, warehouse, construction, or similar environment preferred
- Experience operating a flatbed truck preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a flatbed truck to deliver fencing, lumber, and other materials to customer locations
- Load and unload lumber, fencing materials, and other supplies
- Pull and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup
- Assist customers with locating and loading materials
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other yard equipment safely
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Help maintain inventory and report low stock or damaged materials
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety procedures and assist with additional yard duties as assigned
