Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 6:30 AM–4:00 PM
- 1st shift
- Extended hours and occasional weekends may be required
Production Supervisor Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Quality-assurance experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of manufacturing equipment preferred
- Understanding of quality-management systems, including ISO 9001, preferred
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to use tape measures, digital calipers, and similar measuring equipment
- Strong math skills
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment
- Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise up to 30 production employees.
- Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
- Schedule daily production activities to meet quality, efficiency, and delivery goals.
- Coordinate production schedules and workflow with other departments.
- Monitor production performance and adjust staffing based on workload demands.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous-improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
- Evaluate production processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Complete production reports accurately.
- Communicate operational updates, concerns, and results to management.
