Machine Operator
Hodgenville, KY
Pay: $15.50/hour
Position Type: Full-Time | 2nd Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM
Machine Operator Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn ISO 9001 quality standards and manufacturing procedures
- Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of PPE
- Flexibility to assist with changing production needs
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment according to established work instructions and operating procedures
- Process customer orders while meeting production and quality requirements
- Perform machine setup checks and monitor machine performance throughout the shift
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure compliance with customer specifications and ISO 9001 quality standards
- Make machine adjustments based on measurement data to maintain product quality
- Complete required machine, quality, and production documentation accurately each day
- Report equipment or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor or Sub-Leader immediately
- Maintain machines by keeping them clean and free of debris throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with training new team members as needed
- Perform additional production duties as assigned
