Translator Requirements
- Fluent in English and either Spanish or French, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Six months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain detailed work instructions
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors and employees across multiple departments
- Professional demeanor with strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
Key Responsibilities
- Translate spoken and written information between English and Spanish or English and French while maintaining accuracy and context
- Assist supervisors with communicating job duties, work instructions, safety procedures, and production expectations
- Provide translation support during shift meetings, training sessions, orientations, and team huddles
- Translate work instructions, training materials, safety signage, job aids, and company communications
- Support onboarding and orientation for bilingual employees
- Help ensure employees understand quality, safety, and production requirements
- Relay employee questions, concerns, and feedback to management accurately and professionally
- Assist with communication between temporary and permanent employees
- Recommend improvements to workplace communication, training, workflow, and safety processes
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned
