Die Setter / Crane Operator – 2nd Shift
Bardstown, KY
Pay: $17.00/hour

- Monday–Friday
- 2nd shift
- 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Die Setter / Crane Operator Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Crane-operating experience preferred
- Tool and die or similar hands-on industrial experience is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Strong attention to workplace safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Willingness to learn die-setting procedures and support multiple departments
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily manufacturing goals and production objectives.
- Learn Die Setter responsibilities and assist the department as needed.
- Operate cranes to load, unload, move, and flip dies.
- Load and unload die carts and trucks.
- Tear down and set up dies.
- Prepare new jobs on bolsters.
- Wash and clean dies according to established procedures.
- Assist the Press Department with die changes and job changeovers.
- Remove scrap panels and production waste.
- Maintain clean floors and remove oil, rags, dirt, planks, and other debris.
- Maintain the assigned 5S work area.
- Follow all crane, equipment, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Report equipment, die, or safety concerns to management.
- Complete additional production assignments as directed.
