Equipment Operator
Louisville, KY
Pay: $16.50/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire | 1st Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Optional weekend overtime available
Equipment Operator Requirements
- Previous experience operating stand-up reach trucks and/or stock pickers required
- Experience using RF scanners or scan guns for warehouse operations
- Warehouse experience with picking, putaway, and replenishment tasks preferred
- SAP experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
- Ability to work safely at elevated heights in a warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced distribution center
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach trucks and stock pickers to move inventory throughout the warehouse
- Perform picking, putaway, replenishment, and material movement tasks using RF scanners
- Accurately scan and verify inventory while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Safely retrieve and store products in warehouse racking up to approximately 30 feet high
- Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
- Support additional warehouse operations as assigned
