Job Description
Forklift / Warehouse Associate – 1st Shift
Louisville, KY
Pay: $19.50/hour
Pay: $19.50/hour
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Some Saturdays may be required
Forklift / Warehouse Associate Requirements
- Ability to operate all forklift types used at the facility
- Knowledge of inventory control and replenishment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good numerical and memory skills
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records
- Dependable attendance and availability to work Saturdays when required
- Ability to follow forklift and warehouse-safety procedures
- Previous forklift, inventory, or warehouse experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Support inventory-control and product-replenishment activities.
- Use computer systems to enter, review, and update inventory information.
- Verify product numbers, locations, and quantities for accuracy.
- Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Replenish products and materials in assigned warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts as needed, approximately 10% of the workday.
- Move, stage, and organize products safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain clean, organized, and accessible warehouse areas.
- Communicate inventory concerns to supervisors and team members.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
