Production Supervisor

Pay: $25.00/hour

Position Type: Full-Time | 2nd or 3rd Shift Available

Schedule Information

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Overtime and weekends may be required as needed

Production Supervisor Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Previous experience supervising in a union environment preferred
• Experience managing and leading a diverse workforce
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban principles
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Excellent attendance and disciplinary record required

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity goals are achieved
• Schedule and assign personnel to meet production goals and customer demands
• Monitor production flow, prioritize work, and adjust schedules as needed
• Direct and coordinate daily shift activities to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Complete and maintain shift production summaries and reports
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, production specifications, SPC requirements, polar charts, and print conformance standards
• Maintain customer quality standards and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with customer issue investigations and resolution efforts
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and address performance concerns
• Promote a safe workplace through proper housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and safety practices
• Monitor attendance, manage time-off schedules, approve timesheets, and process employee status changes in E-time systems
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and support employee development
• Lead projects focused on improving production efficiency and operational effectiveness
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, and cross-functional teams
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
