Extraction Technician I Job Details
Jeffersonville, IN
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Extraction Technician I Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- cGMP experience is a plus
- Experience in botanical extraction, food and beverage, chemical processing, or similar industries preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Interest or education in chemistry, biology, food science, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and regulated materials is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all stages of the extraction and production process
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient processing
- Collect and document in-process samples as required
- Record production data and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation
- Follow SOPs to ensure product quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance
- Report equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support inventory control and proper storage of raw materials and finished products
- Dispose of waste materials according to company procedures and safety standards
- Assist with additional production and manufacturing duties as assigned
